Katie moved to St. Mary’s County as a child with her family via the U.S. Navy in the mid-1970’s, she joined the Dorsey Law firm in 1992 as an associate attorney, and became a partner in the firm in 2003.
Graduating Great Mills High school in 1980, Katie went on to Mary Washington College, earning honors and scholarships, and interning for Senator Paul Sarbanes in 1984. From there she went to the University of Baltimore Law School, graduating with her Juris Doctorate in 1989.
Since joining The Dorsey Law Firm, Katie has focused her practice in the areas of Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability, estates and will drafting, administrative hearings, civil litigation, trial preparation, and personal injury.
